43rd Annual Dove Awards Returns to Atlanta

ATLANTA - April 19, 2012 - The 43rd Annual Dove Awards will be held tonight at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta for the second straight year. After a successful event last year, apparently the Gospel Music Association (GMA) who produces the Dove Awards decided to return to the A-town. American Idol winner Ruben Studdard and AI finalist Mandisa are scheduled to perform. Also scheduled to perform is Yolanda Adams, Natalie Grant, Lecrae, Jamie Grace, The Issacs and Donnie McClurkin. The show will be hosted by David Mann of Tyler Perry's "Meet The Browns" and Christian comedienne Chonda Pierce. GMC, formerly Gospel Music Channel, will air the Dove Awards on April 24.
