(April 9, 2012) Bishop T.D. Jakes appeared on 'Oprah's Next Chapter' on her OWN television network Sunday, April 8. For the special one hour program, Oprah Winfrey along with best friend Gayle King, TV/movie mogul Tyler Perry and actor Terrance Howard, attended one of Jakes' Sunday morning services at The Potter's House, in Dallas, Texas. There were several striking moments during the interview including Winfrey and Perry's emotional response to Jakes' sermon. And, Jakes wasn't short on wisdom when he formally sat down with Winfrey after the three hour service to answer a questions about everything from his humble beginnings, to his critics view of his wealth, to homosexuality. In the video below, Jakes talks about his responsibility as pastor. The interview concluded with Jakes' wife, Serita, joining the conversation.
