Stellar Awards 2017 Nominees Announced With Tamela Mann, Travis Greene Leading Nominations

Central City Productions announced the nominees for the 2017 Stellar Awards with gospel stars Tamela Mann and Travis Greene leading the nominations with nine each. 

Mann, whose 2016 album "One Way" and single "God Provides" reached #1 on Billboard's Gospel charts, is nominated for Artist of the Year, Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year, Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year, CD of the Year, Producer of the Year, Song of the Year, and Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year.

Greene is nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year, CD of the Year, Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year, Contemporary CD of the Yea, and Praise and Worship CD of the Year.

Others nominated include Hezekiah Walker, Kirk Franklin, Jekalyn Carr, Todd Dulaney, Shirley Caesar and Bri. There are a total of 26 categories of nominations. See complete list of nominees HERE.

This year's awards show which will again be held at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on March 25, 2017 and hosted by Erica Campbell and Anthony Brown. The show will be broadcast Sunday, April 9th at 7 p.m., 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Eastern on TV One.
