Ace Alexander Inducted into Broadcasters Hall of Fame


Ace Alexander, national radio personality and founder of Airplay 360, was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame on Sept. 9 in Akron, Ohio. The event occurs annually and honors those persons who have made notable contributions to the broadcasting industry. Congratulations Ace!

About Ace Alexander
Known as the ‘Music Commander’ to his listeners and radio colleagues, Ace Alexander is an award-winning National Radio Personality, Inspirational Speaker, Facilitator, Voice-over Talent and founder of AIRPLAY 360 Online Magazaine. His nationally broadcast afternoon drive radio show ‘The Praise Party’ has allowed him to travel to international destinations such as Jamaica, St. Maarten, Anguilla, Cayman Islands and Barbados where he has broadcast live and hosted events such as the Barbados Gospelfest and others on the British West Indian Islands. As a broadcast veteran, Ace’s radio experience covers multiple formats including Gospel, Urban, Urban AC, Adult Contemporary, Blues, Oldies and Talk. He is also creator and presenter of music industry seminars for artist development, which has been a highlight at major music and conference events around the country. Ace is a two-time recipient of the Central South Distribution REACH Award; a two-time nominee for the R&R / Billboard Achievement Awards for Radio Personality and National Music Director of the Year; a two-time Stellar Award nominee for Radio Personality of the Year; African American Men in Gospel Award; Rhythm of Gospel Award for Internet Media Group of the Year for Airplay 360; and Urban Soul Radio Award.
